There has been some discussion about CC and I thought I would lend the macros I use for others to copy or improve upon!  I keybind all my macros.

Fear

#showtooltip Fear

/focus [mod:shift,harm,nodead] mouseover

/cast [mod:shift,@mouseover,harm,nodead]fear;[@focus,harm,nodead]fear;fear

This will focus your mouseover and casts fear if you hold down the shift key (I constructed it this way so I could quickly when needed fear something really fast).  If you don't hold shift it will fear your focus if you have one.  If you have no focus and don't press shift, it will cast fear on your target.  Replace fear with seduce or banish and viola, you have your next macros.

I also keep my pet on passive and macro the command "/petattack" to a couple damaging spells.  I chose immolate and my bane.  It will force the pet to attack the target you are currently damaging, but makes for one less item I have to manually click.  If you DON"T have your pet on passive, it will try to attack your CC'd mob as you CC it, breaking it and making you the least popular person in your group.  When CC is going on, I turn off the Felguard's "Legion Strike" ability, as it is a cleave, and I don't want to risk it.

I macroes my pets AoE "Felstorm" ability to my AoE spell, Hellfire.  Axe Toss, the Felguards 2 second stun I have keybound to use as I want.  Felstorm and Axe Toss cannot be placed on autocast, so we have to manage them manually.

I may add some more of the common macros I use later, but I thought this would be a start.  Feel free to add more!

Awesome!

Thanks for posting this! I will definitely make use of these. The whole time during instances last night, I kept going, 'Man, those macros would sure be useful right now.'
