Just a few addons i use to make life easier.

Misdirectionhelper is a addon for hunters to use "Misdirection" with one click without losing your target and add a message to chat

Lock and load alert tracks if you currently have the lock and load buff.
If you get the buff you get a big lock and load icon on your screen.

FaceShooter is an addon for hunters that tries to predict which shot should be used next based on a dynamically created priority list and shows it as an icon.

autotrack
I use one called AutoTracker2. Since I have points in improved tracking, my tracking is important and I am forgetful so I lose DPS due to not switching my tracking. AutoTracker2 will switch your tracking on its own when you target a mob. I think it is a great mod and I am so glad I found it. If you have advanced tracking, I would really think about trying it.

Improved tracking was changed a few patchs ago as long as your tracking some type of mob damage is increased to all mobs that hunters can track

BTW Sio I went to the agi gem's like you suggested and the trueshot glyph. I havent done any raid bosses yet but my instance dps seems to have improved a bit. it's not like thousands of dps i think it was about 300 dps per instance but that is still a nice increase for a heroic dungeon.
