While I have not had the opportunity to expeirience Tol Barad myself yet, I have heard many of the concerns and issues over the past few weeks. I thought this was an interesting little write-up and someone from Blizz actually admitting in taking missteps:

At least Blizz acknowledges
At least Blizz acknowledges TB is broken, unlike with WG where they swore up an down that tenacity was a viable fix.
UPDATE
PvP
Tol Barad
This might work actually .... now it just remains to be seen if this is going to force TB into a 5 minute battle or not.
Thats awesome, I made that
Thats awesome, I made that exact suggestion on the pvp battlegrounds forum! Glad they are doing this!
Defending forces will receive
Defending forces will receive a 200% capture speed bonus when they control all 3 keeps.
So, never? If you control all 3 you don't need to capture, if your are capturing something, then you don't control it to get the speed bonus... It's only use seems to be to make it harder for the attackers to claim their first keep.
Towers
I am thinking it was a typo and it was supposed to say towers. Then again it could mean exactly what it says and blizz has no freaking clue haha
Well
So first they go the one way with it, hard as hell to take it when attacking, now they swing it the other way, near fucking impossible to keep it on defense. Now I mean this does seem a bit better and will allow more change up to who holds the fucking thing, but honestly the only way you'll be able to win on D with these changes is if you have cordination, so pretty much never for Farstriders.
With the exception
of if we go as a guild group. We usually mop them up and whispers on alliance side are if NO is there as a guild its going to probably be an Alli loss ..... we are beasts
I seen it !
Even on drunken pvp nights we dominated. I am 100% certain it's just a matter of coordination. Unfortunately, when not a guild fight you have people fighting on roads and other nonsense.
I think the best incentive
I think the best incentive for any content you want to remain alive is limited use items/effects that are significant enough to matter.
I think a hell's scream type buff would be a great incentive. +2% to your primary stat, or a +5% to health to any horde/alliance while in any cataclysm instance/raid. Those kinds of numbers aren't always game changing, but they can certainly encourage people who don't normally pvp to feel they have a stake in the outcome. With the TB boss having roughly a 1% chance of dropping any paticular piece of gear, I don't really feel the desire to go myself unless it's simply a matter of good timing.
Meh
I may start revisitng TB is they do some kind of fix, but right now I think I would get more enjoyment slamming my head into the wall for 15 min. I personally have nothing to gain on my DK anymore, Honor is worthless, I don't need rep and besides the once a week raid...there's really no incentive. But, atleast they're finally doing SOMETHING to try to 'fix' TB and it's not tenacity <3
On a side note, SCREW YOU BLIZZ! YOU PUT MY WHIPTAIL NODES BACK NAO!!!! TB is one of the best places to farm Whiptail, it respawns before, during and after the TB fights, but I can see why their doing this...because of people like me =D
Have you ever heard the phrase...
..."part of the problem"?
Nope
Do tell =P
Seems I've heard that before
Seems I've heard that before somewhere.....;-)
TB in a nutshell (use your imagination)
FUNNNNNY
x100 not sure if its because I imagined running from base to base or what but shit had me rolling
Exactly
I have watched this like 5 times now and continue to lol irl
