Things to keep in mind with Read ID chat.

You need to go into Interface -> Social and enable and then disable Mature language filter so it won't bleep you naughty words.

Also in there is a drop down named "New Real ID Conversations"

Set this to "in-line" so it comes up in your "General" window. That's the window most of your chat occurs in normally.

Under Interface -> Battle.net

You can turn off the Toast Window. It's a little pop up that tells you when ppl come and go offline/online. I kept it but moved it to the shortest option possible and it's tolerable.
