Tankspots Weekly Marmot, some helpful raid tips...

in
I know not everyone out there has a 'gaming' pc and can't run their graphics as high as they'd like. Granted this doesn't normally effect gameplay, but it can lead to some rather unwanted occurances in raids. Wheter it be from low fps or not being able to see a certain graphic to avoid a debuff or AoE damage, some tips mentioned by Aliena in the Weekly Marmot from Tankspot.com can help a tad :)

Just figured...
since I'm mentioning raid help, I'd give a quick speach on cameras. By now mostly everyone knows that you can zoom your camera out more than 15 feet from behind your chracter. Although you may not fancy this during exploring or roaming around Dal, begging for enchants or cuts, it is almost mandatory for a succesful raider.
I know there's some fancy macro out there that will automatically set the camera distance to its max setting (waits for macro whores). But this setting can also be adjusted to your liking in the menus. Simply hit, Escape --> Interface ---> Camera --> Camera Max Distance. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, you can zoom in and out with it, to apply to your situation, this will not reset the setting in the menus.
