Hmm...

kibito's picture

What kind of accent is that?

It's a Sexy-As-All-Hell accent.

Nuff said.

haha

Definitely easier to listen to than Ogg or Tal and definitely better than listening to me drone on.

Hot huh?

Talarashne's picture

She actually is pretty hot.

Her name, in case you're a deranged stalker, is Mandy Jürgens and she lives in Tacoma, Washington. I don't know her ethnicity, but I THINK she's Austrian with her name and the accent would fit.

edit - No she's German, and living back in Germany apparently.

Hmmm...

Xyro's picture

I always thought she sounded slightly asian to me from the videos. I remember seeing you post elsewhere, Tal, that she was german or something of that nature. Btw Tal if you don't like to be called a stalker, we can think of a less aggressive name...like...uhhhh....#1 fan?

ehh

bulworth's picture

she's not really my type. 4/10 tops.

Oh and for Waka

If you like playing dressup....

A better position

Doklove's picture

Check out this link of the Sindragosa fight. Tankspot's position really requires precision where you lay your ice tombs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCIrFoebJJ8

Doing it this way allows for alot more placement and accidents to occur.

After Reviewing the above Vid..

Siopao's picture

it appears to be Soaps Friendly.

Tanking her on the stairs forces us to play closer

the hunter placement seems to be just at the furthest point at the base of the stairs.. seems simple enuf ,just means i dun have to think>

The placement of the Frost tombs seems elementary..why not put them there, cuts down on all the running around.

Funny tho i never saw those swirling things on the ground...

And as for avoidable Raid damage,a nd my achillies' heel teh Suck!....why can't i just run through and end up on the other side of the stairs, instead of turning and running...to me it looks like i won't be out of heals range if that happens.

Hmm.

I agree

Talarashne's picture

It makes it clear where to place the frost tombs, reduces running around.

Also notice they sort of blow up those ice tombs in phase 2 without always getting behind them. They're watching their own marks and letting them stack a bit before clearing and really maximizing their dps.

i saw that.

Siopao's picture

i kinda wish the resolution was a bit better so we could actually see the amount of stacks they were actually keeping. it seemed that when i had 4 stacks it was still managable...so basically every 3 tombs b4 i was jumping behind.

ok i was wrong

Talarashne's picture

at least the person making the video never let it get beyond 1-2 stacks other than at the end when the sacrificed a couple people in a row to pour out the last dps when they were in the single digits.

Some of the range definitely skipped some. The warlock once it was low enough was draining soul and getting good dps and skipped a few of them.

I think everyone was pretty much destroying the frost tombs for the most part, and the melee since they had to run over there were getting behind it nearly every time they were derstroying it.

The ranged hoewver seemed to do alot of it from range and onlyr an over every so often. we'll see. porobabyly 4 stacks is manageable. They say with good enough healing you can really just zerg him down through that and not even worry about the debuff if you have enough dps and good healers spamming the raid by the end of it so who knows.

Affliction

Hoke's picture

has an execute that starts at 25% health, whereas Demo starts at 35%.  I'm not sure that destro has asuch an execute range, but I don't play destro ever, so I'm not sure there.  Basically, Demo is in execute for the entirety of phase 3, affliction only part of it.

foe the most part the less..

Siopao's picture

i have to think the better off i am, sounds stupid but when things are a bit Mechanical for me i tend to pay more attention to what's going on, instead of ' oh snap!" run here, not there...

Warlocks in phase 3

Hoke's picture

On all the Warlock forums I read, it seems that the choice is for our class (and mages, spriests, ranged casters in general) is to only clear stacks about every other frost tomb.  I also read on another site that any 2 hand melee dps were the top choices to dps down the frost tombs because they swing so fast and therefore build stacks faster than otehrs, but since I have a grand total of zero 2-hand melee characters, that strategy could suck it big time.  But, it made sense to me.

As a warlock, it takes me some time to ramp up damage and of course target switching = put dps in the toilet, so from a selfish standpoint, yes please.  Of course target switching jacks everyone's dps, so who knows.  Anyway, those were the 2 items that I found consistently on the several warlock forums that I read.  Thought I would throw it out for discussion.

I also vote for doing it on the stairs as the visual reference for where we're supposed to go when we need to move is much easier to see.

Ohhhh Richyyyy?

Xyro's picture

You forget if you have Siphon Life in the Afflic tree, every afflic spell currently active on the target deals even more damage with Drain Soul (6% more dam per afflic spell...up to a max of 18%, so only 3 of my 4 dots will count to that), on top of the quadruple damage increase at 25% =D

Oh yeah - you're right

Hoke's picture

But I get Soul Fire 25k crits every 2 seconds from 35% on where drain soul only ticks once every 3.  ;-)  The DPET of Drain Soul only exceeds Shadowbolt when you're in execution range 25% and lower.

We should have a raid of all Warlocks.  Forget all these druid folks, we have our own private tanks.  Which we can heal ourselves.  ;-)

And if we have 4 demon locks we can rotate tanks every 30 seconds in Demon form.  Hmmm....

LOCK TANK FTW!

Xyro's picture

No one believes me when I speak of lock tanks...we'll show them. I do miss those crazy Soul Fire crits though, I'm just more comfortable in my Afflic skin, I've been there for yeaaaars. Gotta love Demon Form though...to go from 3k armor to 15k+ in a second is lovely lol

So i was talking to my Bud on MG..

Siopao's picture

He recommends that for the Sindragosa Encounter, the OT should be wearing the crafted Frost resist gear.

Even tho it is a Redux in Mitigation, and HP, it really helps to give time to the MT to cleanse their Debuff.
