Thats the first time I have ever seen that...lol.... dairy cows are a different critter though, they are extremely stupid compared to beef cattle almost like horses they seem to try there best to find as many ways to kill or maim themselves as they can.
I've commented on that video previously, on YouTube. Someone was making some weird claim as to how that's the kind of cow that killed John Wayne, with the thought that they found his body full of undigested meat. Because of our genetic tampering with cows. God people are stupid.

We use these same tools in our selective breeding program.. Artificial insemination, embryo, transfer, and even some cloning but I gotta say these guys are idiots. They have single trait selected for muscle only when there are many other things just as important in a cows displayed phenotype. For example skeletal structure, meat quality traits(marbling, intermiscular fat, etc), and even maternal traits since half of this bulls offspring will be female unless they use a semen separator wich is very expensive. My guess is that any offspring these bulls have will be crippled, burn out there livers in 3 yrs, and taste like chewing on a used tire.

Ive had horses and none of them every did anything stupid to try and kill or maim themselves. .....I did have a horse who like to lick my hands though....was odd but hey...they lick rocks for salt too.
