So, they released it for PS3 already, but XBOX and PC owners will have to wait until Wed, 11/30.  Boo.

On a side note, I'm not sure how it'll affect my 'pirated' steam copy of Skyrim that I 'obtained' 2 days before its release.  Hmm.

"ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)"

Is it wrong that this fix pleases me more than any of the others?

I know right. I'm looking

I know right. I'm looking forward to the toolkit, hopeful someone can come up with an all around more intuitive PC menu system. It's just not condusive to a mouse.

Example

I had a fiasco the other night enchanting some items, had a few of the same item and was so confused looking at the item list I made two of the same item /facepalm.

I can't leave my house in Whiterun since the patch.  It locks up at the loading screen every time I do.

Soooo

Obviously a lot of hype about this... I absolutely loved Morrowind and it's xpacs, but oblivion was a bit lackluster to me--definately fun but didn't hold my attention long enough to complete.  Considering Skyrim as a fill in between 4.3 and ToR and/or MoP.  Just want to get a feel for what yall are thinking after playing it... worth the $$$?

Epic

The scale and the storyline of the game is fantastic.  There is so much to do in it and the challenge level is right on target.  You can also agjust combat difficulty if you feel it is too easy or too hard.

Loving it.

Don't expect gameplay to be like previous games. There are some aspects that are signature of the Elder Scrolls games, but also a lot of tweaks, improvements and changes.

On its own merits, Skyrim is a fantastic, emmersive RPG that gives the player a huge degree of freedom in a vast open world. I'm 60 hours into the game and haven't uncovered half the locations on the map. I've heard that in total the game has around 300 hours of content if you do all side quests, explore every area, and max out all skills. Great for ocd people who like to do EVERYTHING and also great for replay value. My first character just completed the main quest and I think I'm going to start a new game with a new character build and focus on exploring the 75% of the game my current character never got around to.

Definitely a game worth paying full price for, imo.
