So here is the proof, go figure. I really thought he would lie or would chicken out.
Here is the Bolivian siren that "called" him down there :P
My brother was telling me this trip was pretty cheap.
Spent like $800 round trip air fare to La Paz.
Bought a bunch of stuff down there, stayed at a few hotels, and ate out almost every night.
He was also a minor celebrity down there, I guess they don't get many Americans (although they do get Canadians and Europeans).
I thought the world hated Americans...eh. So where is this Death Road? Bolivia? What's so special about it, besides the fact if you slip or your brakes go out your dead?
Bolivia!
I guess it depends on what part of the world one goes to.
I wouldn't be going to Columbia or Venezuela anytime soon :P
He also saw a huge line of cars at Lake Titicaca, found out there was a priest there blessing people's new cars :)
priest's doing that with guys motorcycles...can't remember if it was around here or back in Brooklyn...either way I thought it was...different.
Kib, I thought your car was blessed or something?
Blessed by a buddhist monk. So far so good. :)
