More Website Updates

1) Added an "Appbar" to the bottom of the page, that stays with you as you scroll. Has a few usefull features on it. On the left it has a link back to the main guild hall page. This is usefull on long scrolling pages to quickly link back to the main page. Then quick links to your profile, your blog, your inbox, and your bookmarks. Also on the right of the Appbar is an Alerts feature. This will update when something new is posted to one of your topics, etc, or other relevant activity is recorded. Also system messages can also be delivered this way. this is only seen and usable by natural order members.
2) Reduced some of the features in the left nav, moving them to the appbar, and bringing Forums, Blogs, and Polls all within the Guild Hall rather than seemingly spread out.
3) Modified the 'NSFW and SFW" wording a bit to make it more clear. This is only usable by natural order members.
4) Made Activity public. Things that happen on the site can now be seein in the Activity page, and within alerts. This is something only visable by Natural Order members.

Really liking the changes!
Getting a wierd wrapping of the status updates frame.
which brower?
What browser are you using?
Looks like maybe IE8?
yeah I'm seeing the overflow issue. give me a few.
Yes IE8
Yeah, It's Internet Exploder. I have to run both browsers because a lot of my work websites simply don't work with Firefox. So I sometimes forget to switch back to my safe, good, browser.
I am really liking your web style. This is definately one of the coolest guild/group sites that I have used.
Kibs Status
Kib had a long link in his status and it didn't break and spread out the stati-.
I'm using a CSS3 property called word-wrap: break-word which is great and breaks stuff like that automatically, but it only works in firefox, safari, and chrome....not IE of course because Microsoft hates CSS3 or any kind of standard and they're all bastards.
I love Bug Testing
We use a lot of custom apps at work so I am beta-testing the programmers code all the time. The love and loathe me at the same time. I am always breaking their stuff.
What is nsfw, sfw?
*noob power go*
Acronyms
Not Safe For Work
Safe For Work
Basicaly if it contains vulgarity or nudity or anything like that you can flag it as 'NSFW' That way it won't show up on the SFW Guild Hall.
Moar
Ok. Apologies to those who had to deal with my mucking about...
I've moved the site to a fluid style rather than a fixed, so we use up more space right to left, left to right. I've also added a fourth column to the page. Who is online has been moved to the far right column, along with new avatar pictures of those online. In addition I've added a permanent link to the guild cafe press store. Those who havea purchased stuff you should take a pciture of yourself wearing your Natural Order gear and post it!
I've added Ad links for my company's products to the site, but only for anonymous uses so people not logged in, or for the spiders. Once you're logged in you shouldn't see them.
Um..I think that's it for now. I'm thinking about the next thing I want to do is improve the user profile pages, etc, but not today.
I wouldn't disagree
With you putting some sort of perma-link to your web-design company somewhere on the page.
Just saying, with all the work you put into this you deserve some props!
Ahh...
And I do see it there on the left under the button-bar.
I lied
I wasn't done.
Added the Ventrilo thing to the right column, so when you're offline you can see who is on vent. You can also connect just by clicking the connect link on the widget.
I should mention
Only Natural Order Members can see that Vent info
I like that idea...
pretty cool for anyone not in the game and just browsing during raid time or something of that nature. Are we to see live raid feed next o.O
That would be awesome
but no
