Level 50 daily groups.

For those of you that don't know, once you've completed your story quest at level 50, there are two sets of daily quests to keep you busy in between PVP and hardmode flashpoints. Belsavis (remember the prison planet) has a set, and the end-game world Ilum has a set. You should receive breadcrumb quests when you return to the fleet after level 50 that send you to both places, and story quests will lead you through the dailies your first time through.
The benefits? Well, each quest gives a whopping 7k-10k credits upon completion, in addition to the loot. Each quest also gives you one daily commendation, which you can spend on extremely high-level stuff. Purple earpieces and implants are in the 120 commendation range, while speeders are 200 and max-rank purple armorings, barrels, and hilts are 8 commendations apiece. These are better than any mod anyone can craft in the game.
Furthermore, there are also daily group quests on each planet, which offer slightly better rewards in the form of max-rank purple enhancements and mods as well as max-level orange companion weapons.
So since many hands make light work, I figured I'd post to see who's got 50s so far, and who wouldn't mind taking advantage of this loot pinata in one (or a couple) big group(s). It doesn't take long at all to burn through the dailies on each planet, and if you do the lot of them you'll probably come away 150k richer.

Thanks!
Not 50 yet, but when I get there I'll definitely want to do these as part of a group. :)
:P
Someday I will be level 50 and I will join you guys in loot piñata whacking.
I'll be up for doing dailies
I'll be up for doing dailies with you mate.
Nearly 47 now, Em. I'll be
Nearly 47 now, Em. I'll be there soon!
I believe I was the 8th
I believe I was the 8th person to hit 50, so our list is somewhat short. But we have many very close to 50 so I feel after this weekend we will have a lot more.
I'd also be happy to join you.
Daily group schedule.
I'm holding off on my dailies for today; I'll check in-game around 6-7pm CST to see if we can put a group together.
I'd be down for some of this
The heroic daily quests have some really nice rewards.
Here's the overview.

Remember, you have to complete your class quest before starting on these chains; you can access some of the dailies before doing so, I understand, but definitely not all of them. The chain on Belsavis is pretty simple; the one on Ilum has a bugged step. When you go after Lord Loyat, you have to kill EVERYONE in the building before engaging her, or she'll aggro whoever's left. Nothing like getting her down to 10% only to have the goddamn gold Elite who was in another freaking zip code come racing over to light you on fire.
If 6-7pm CST works for everyone, we'll start trying to put groups together then. At the very least we can power through the group quests for the really hot shit rewards, and everyone can do the solo quests whenever -- but it's a lot more fun blowing up mobs in a big group.
Thanks!
I won't be 50 for a bit yet, but I'll plan on joining you guys once I am. Thanks for the overview Em!
I love it!!!
I will be there "SoonTM" is such a common response. Notice you don't see any of the zmog gotta hit the level cap this weekend or I'm gonna die...
Sounds like most are in the same boat as me. Loving the ride to 50, and not wanting it to end!
That said, look forward to going end game stuff with ya Em! Got another 30 or so levels on the republic side, my main (in Unnatural Chaos) will be there much sooner though.
Cheers!

Ilum PVP Daily.
Just in case anyone doesn't know, there's basically a free gear pinata on Ilum via the daily/weekly PVP quest. If you hate PVP, don't worry -- there's no actual PVP involved. Here's what you do.
1) Get the quest at the PVP terminal on Carrick Station. I keep forgetting this part and having to fly back. I forget the actual names, but they're designated daily and weekly and the former is "contribute to the war effort 0/5" and the latter "contribute to the war effort 0/15".
2) Fly to Ilum. Hop on the speeder. You'll see three taxi destinations over on the left side of the map; fly to the northernmost one. That's usually where the fun starts.
3) Once you're on the battlefield, you'll begin getting repeated messages about an area falling under Imperial/Republic control. If you look on your map, it will be highlighted. Go there.
4) When you approach the area, it will be a plateau filled with a bunch of vehicles all shooting at each other. Generally, the Republic side is the north part of the plateau. You want to go to the area with Empire vehicles, not the area with Republic walkers. If you see a bunch of blue beams shooting into the sky, that's your spot.
5) When you get there, if the Empire has control, there will be three Imperial tanks sitting there. Right-clicking on one will start a 10-second channel after which you'll blow up the tank with a missile. If you're the only Republic player there, blow up all three tanks. Once all three are gone, you'll get a completion for "contribute to the war effort".
6) Wait. You'll see three Republic walkers get dropped on the other side, red beams shoot up, and they will be destroyed by Empire players. Shortly afterwards, three more Imperial tanks will drop in.
7) Lather, rinse, repeat until you have all your completions. Do not worry that there are shitloads of Imperial players and you're flagged. They're not stupid, and realize that if they kill you, you can't recap the plateau for them.
Upon completion of the daily quest, you will get a loot bag. Upon completion of the weekly quest, you will get three loot bags. Each contains a couple of PVP tokens that you can use to buy tier 1 PVP gear. Each may also contain a token which you can trade in for a piece of tier 2 PVP gear. Unlike WoW, this gear is actually really damned useful in PVE as well and contains the equivalent of level 56 mods and enhancements. The vendors are in the PVP area, you will see four members of your class sitting behind a desk. Trial and error will point you to the correct one selling your gear.
IMPORTANT: You may have the option of purchasing pieces from multiple PVP sets. Some of them have different set bonuses, and it's not always immediately obvious which one you should get. Knotor has the list of the set bonuses so you can make sure you don't grab Scoundrel gear as a Gunslinger or what have you.
Another tip.
When you go through the Belsavis dailies, you'll get a Heroic 4 quest called "Open Communications". You'll be tempted to drop it. DON'T. After you do Riot, before you head over to the last hub, you'll pass the heroic area where Open Communications takes place. Run in, head to the south when you come to the other instanced area, and in front of you you will see a disabled droid. Click on the droid, and it will summon three 5k-health mobs. Kill them.
That's it. Absolutely soloable, takes 30 seconds, and rewards your choice of orange companion weapons or a level 50 item box as well as 3 commendations and the usual 7k.
