It's to bring back the REAL Blood Boil animation, not this BS animation they gave us in 4.0.3. Blizzard JUST changed the animation when 4.0 hit, they improved the red cloud of death to a red STORM of death, which was 100% pure awesomesauce. Most recently with 4.0.3, they changed the animation to some orange 'waves' on the ground that looks ridiculous and in no way, shape or form resembles a "Blood Boil", with the exception that it's targets get a small red cloud around them.
The real kicker is that our "new" blood boil animation looks JUST like some Pally tank animation...WTF Blizz!?!

"The reason"
The reason I keep finding everywhere is that melee was complaining it was hard to see targets in melee range......
Are you serious? So for that half a second a transparent red mist is up you can't dps? Let's get real people. But Arcane Explosion, Blizzard, Rain of Fire, Thunderstorm and the whole other slew of AoEs that last far longer than .5s and hinder visibility far more than BB does is completely fine. People need to get over themselves and stop trying to make up excuses as to why their dps isn't where they want it to be.
Again, the more the merrier...if your a DK please just do a /signed on the link at the top to try and win back one of the most awesome looking spells EVAR! The boycott post was started on 11/24 and already has about 5 pages of DKs signing it, help your undead brethren out!
