I need some help from smarter hunters than me

Just a question for anyone with time to answer– due to some recent gear “upgrades” I am no longer hit capped without Focused Aim. I respecced to Survival from Marksman, and gave myself 2 points in Focused Aim to get back to the hit cap (1 point over at 198 with 2/3 Focused Aim). Would I be better off gemming for hit and doing the typical 0/15/56 Survival build, or staying as I am with my modified Survival build to get Focused Aim (which means I skip 2/3 Hunting Party in the cookie cutter build)? So in a nutshell, is 2 points in Hunting Party worth losing the 80 Agility I would have to sacrifice by replacing Delicate Cardinal Rubies with Rigid King’s Amber to get back over the hit cap without Focused Aim?

2% of your Agi would only be
2% of your Agi would only be 48, so I don't think it would be worth it throwing those points in HP. I've never used HP, it's just not worth it with all the other mana regen. Being 4 hit off cap isn't bad, just using 3 20 hit gems. Sure, you'd lose a little bit of agi/crit/ap, but I believe talents > gear.
You don't really need points in resourcefulness imo. Sure, it leads to more BA uptime, but I'm thinking (And I'm about to respec myself) that points would be better spent in Improved Aspect of Hawk in BM tree and Improved Stings in MM. It may not be the case for you; the improved stings looks good to me because I'm still using the t9 2set for ss crits. (On that note WTB ToGC runs ~8D)
However you look at it, I think it's always better to be hard hit capped (through gear) rather than soft hit capped (through talents).
Here's your data with your

DPS
In my opinion a 113 dps difference would warrant the change. To get this I swapped those two talents, added 3 kings ambers in each of the yellow specific gem slots on your gear, and 1 ametrine to your prismatic slot on your belt. I've always found this breakdown to be extremely accurate, but it wouldn't be in any way detrimental to choose the first one. I've always preferred to use gemming to control hit over changing my talents.

Also... just thought I would add, stat wise the difference is nominal, a bigger part of it has to do with your viper loss. Your viper loss without hunting party was over 8%, where with it, you should be just over 6%. Granted this is not considering any raid buffs, but that effect benefits you as well as others in the raid in terms of your mana management, and is one of the only raid stat contributions made by survival hunters. I've always considered it relevant, and a responsibility to have it for that reason.
Thanks guys
I've been playing around with femaldwarf.com also (great site), so I'll be making some changes to squeeze out those last few dps. I appreciate the advice and the in depth analysis.
Edit to add more info: The DPS loss from Viper is ENORMOUS. Mana has only been an issue for me once in a raid (we had a very weird raid make-up and were missing some key buffs, like Spirit...) and never in a heroic, so I went ahead and turned off Viper in the settings on femaledwarf. Without the huge Viper loss, my current spec actually beats the regemmed/respeced w/ Hunting Party build by 17.92 DPS. Cacciatore did however bring up a good point-- hunting party benefits people other than me, so if I'm going to stay Survival I will go ahead and take it.
I'm going to play around with femaledwarf some more and see if I'd be better off going back to Marksman. Le sigh, I hate theorycrafting.
yeah i know some say its a
yeah i know some say its a waste but i think i have 2 points in the reducing mana cost of all shots talent. I am also MM so I cant really tell you about spec specifics as SV. i lvl'd SV and had fun but now im a die hard MM fan. the only thing i dont like is there isnt a lot of movability with MM. glad you like the femaledwarf site though. i cant tell you how many hours i sat making changes in there. in the settings you can make it so it doesnt account for viper so its more of a group analysis. also, look at the common talents for pets that they suggest. i got a good bit of extra dps from changing my build on my pet to match their common build.
and in Just a few months..
it won't matter.
but with Cata a few things are nice.
regen, not so much of an issue, since they lowered the amount of focus per shot, Haste is King!
Aspect of the fox...shooting on the move :) kinda negates the SV vs MM issue of stand and deliver fights vs Moving
Aimed will be an MM only talented shot, and no longer instant.
Explosive SV only
Intimidation BM only
Nice to see Blizz going back to almost Vanilla in simplicty
Interesting enough they are removing Volley, and basically removing the cap on Targets hit by Multishot so basically the same thing.
SV tho has a talent for applying SS on every Multi-shot....
I'm still disappointed in not getting "Bear" trap
kinda like snake trap, but spawns bears.
Eh...
Just run around with some droods. It'll feel similar. =)
BEAR TRAP!
Run, motherfuckers...
O.o
so many Levels or wrong in that pic.
