How to Catch DMF Sea Pony

I caught the first one on my bankalt fishing floating debris and just assumed that was the only way. However, I went in frustration to El's Extreme Anglin' and the pony can be caught in any open water. I got Ara's in 40 casts. The pony is only rarely caught fishing floating debris. The range of casts to catch went from one to way over 500 with no luck. That's usually my luck.

I got mine on my third cast doing the fishing quest there.

I'm up over 1000 casts for my Dalaran sewer rat - nothing yet. I still need to find Mr. Pinchy too. Now I have another low% thing to fish up...

currently hearthed in shat though b/c I still need muckbreath.
ARGHHH...
Fara (my crazy undead rogue) caught his on the first cast today. I have yet to get the Sewer Rat or Mr Pincy although I do have all the baby crocs.
Pinchy isn't too bad
Pinchy isn't too bad (relatively speaking) since he's only a pool cast, so at least you always know that if you've run out of pools you're done for a bit. They're rather slow-spawning since they were the only place to catch some raid-quality food ingredients once upon a time.
That rat though - rrrrrgh.
