I loved this as a kid, had the record to this and listened to it all the time.

I still think this cartoon's depiction of Gollum is not bad :)

I read this book years and years ago and loved it, was probably one the the first fantasy books I ever read.

if your gonna attempt Lord of the Rings be warned, it has a different style to it (way more lore and a ton of details).
