guild introduction: Skidplate

Tell us about your character(s)....

1. What is your primary character's name/class/level? Skidplate / Blood DK

2. If you are interested in raiding with us, are you willing to build a secondary set on this character, and respec as necessary (generally to dps) if the raid needs it, without bitching excessively? Sure, why not?

3. What alts do you have that you also wish to join the guild? I have an alliance paladin currently on Malygos named "Pummelor" that I'm considering switching over.  He's duel specced Ret/ Prot. Currently raiding ICC10 and some ICC25

ITell us about your gaming history...

4. What previous and current MMO's have you/do you play?  WoW is really all that I have time to play on the computer.  I do sometimes play Madden or some other PS3 game BUT you said MMO so that doesn't apply I suppose.

5. Describe what makes a good gamer, and then on a scale of 1 to 10 tell us how good a gamer are you, and why?  A good gamer to me is someone who's able to play with others and not prone to being a douche.  For example, my main toon on Malygos is a human warlock "Mykall" I've researched this character's abilities till I got blue in the face BUT i'm not going to lecture others on how I think they should spec, play and/ or gem.  I do however step up when I'm asked questions.

 6. Have you been in any other guilds, specifically in WoW and on Farstriders? How bout in other games or on other servers? Which? Why did you, or why are you leaving them? My main server that I play on is Malygos.  I'm in "The Order of the Phoenix" there.  Mykall -Human Warlock lvl 80, Pummelor - Human Paladin lvl 80, plus some other lowbies I've been working on.  I haven't been in any guilds on the Farstriders realm.

7. What do you like to do in WoW (world pvp, instances, etc)? What about other games?  Make GOLD ( no not the chinese farming way), Heroic Dungeons, 10-25 man Raids.  I'm burned out on questing unless necessary.

8. How did you hear about Natural Order? Do you have anyone already inside who could reference you in a good or bad way? (Who?)  I hear about your guild from an old friend of mine Kevin Peck.  He has several toons in the guild.  Non of which I can remember at the moment. lol

9. Have you read all the posts in the About Natural Order section of the forum? yes

10. What are your expectations? What do you think you will gain from joining Natural Order? What would make you happy that you joined us?  When I've earned the right, I'd like to Raid with the guild.  Other than experience, I think I'll gain more WoW friends.  I'd definately be happy if I've helped in our End Game Progression and/ or guild progression.  A Lich King kill would just make things ever so sweet too. =)

11. What do you think you can bring to the guild? Why are we going to be happy you joined us?  I bring dungeon, raid and character experience.  I'm also an adult with a wife and 2 kids so I'm not going to be bringing some High School BS to the mix. I believe that I can offer help with certain toon questions (warlock, and paladin), dungeons, and raid information etc.

12. If you are interested in 25 man raiding with us, what are your available nights and times for 25 man raids?  7-11pm eastern time usually during the week unless family or work come calling.  The weekends usually aren't too good for me since I do things with family.

13. Do you meet our age requirement (18 and over)? How old are you, if you don't mind us asking? I'm 18+16.

14. If we had a party in real life, what would you bring? Brats, Burgers, and a case of brew

20. Are you married? If so does your spouse play games too? Yeah, she plays WoW sometimes but lately it's been Farmville or Civilization on PS3

21. Do you have kids? What ages? 2 kids.. 4yr old boy and 14mo. old girl

22. What activities or hobbies do you have other than gaming? I spend time with my kids, watch movies or board games with friends when we're just hanging out.

23. Tell us something cool that happened to you recently in real life. If cool things don't happen to you make something up. (hint - think of this as more of an essay...try and tell a story here, preferably something that actually happened to you)

Recently while playing WoW, my 4yr old asked me to make him a character.  He sat in my lap and I had him pick out his own details.  He ended up with a night elf hunter mainly because of the Bow and Arrow they use. We then went in the starting area and all he wanted to do was shoot the animals lol.

24. Pretend there is someone in the guild that you must eliminate. You want to join the guild, but this person will prevent your application from being accepted. What methods have you selected to dispose of them before they can affect your application? If you don't know anyone, pretend you do, and describe how you'd eliminate them. This question is not optional. Do your worst.

I think I'd hack the internet provider that they are using and cancel their service. Then get ahold of one of those Chinese farmers to hack their account.. just while I'm being accepted.  I guess they'll get their account back BUT they'll be naked.  A small price to pay for me to be on the team.
