Guild Introduction: RPM

Hey guys. I'm here for SWTOR not WoW, however I did play around a years worth of WoW which I stopped about a year ago. I was in a few guilds with one of your recient applicants: The Magistrate.

Now to the questions.

1. Your Main (This is obviously for back when I played WoW)

Name: Xart

Class: Mage

Level: 80

Primary Spec: Arcane

Off-spec: Fire? (I forget but I think I remember there only being one good spec for mages at the time, which may or may not still hold true)

2. No alts at level 80 worth talking about, I was a primary Mage DPSer.

3. What previous and current MMO's have you/do you play?

The only MMO I did play on a consistant basis was WoW. I did play Runes of Magic for less than a month, I guess it didn't catch my interest.

4. Describe what makes a good gamer, in your opinion:

I very easy to get alone with and get along with others just as easily, which makes me a very easy to play with raid member. I don't demand what kind of gear I think I should have, I go with the consensis of the group of what they think is best. I also have lots of free time that I can put into this game, so I can be available for raids.

5. On a scale of 1 to 10 tell us how good a gamer are you, and why?

How good? 8 ... we all have hiccpus from time to time eh? I'd be lying if I said I was a perfect gamer and made no mistakes ever. I can't imagine there are many of them out there if any.

6. Have you been in any other guilds, specifically in WoW and on Farstriders? How about in other games or on other servers? Which? Why did you, or why are you leaving them?

I was in other guilds, they tended to break up because I'd join them when first creating and is very hard to get a decient guild up and running. As I'm sure you all know. The last guild I was in in WoW broke up and decided to not join another because WoW just wasn't somthing I wanted to continue at the time. Now with SWTOR I can't wait to start up again!

7. What do you like to do with your time in WoW?

I prefered to play with friends, that was the most fun. Though don't get me wrong I also enjoy playing on my own because the game itself was fun. Daily quests and achievements keept me going once I was 80 and in between raids.

8. How did you hear about Natural Order?

The Magistrate and I have been friends for a while now, and he suggested this guild to me. I hope/think he would vouch for me, as I would him. Not that he would need it :P.

9. Is there a current member of Natural Order who could reference you in a good or bad way?

10. Have you read all of the posts in the About Natural Order section of the forum?

In process. Since I'm filling this out in the middle of the night I will finish reading up on the forums within this Thanksgiving weekend.

11. What are your expectations? What do you think you will gain from joining Natural Order, and why are you applying?

Since The Magistrate and I have been friends for a while now he is the only one I know of getting SWTOR so I'd like to follow him into a guild if possible.

12. What do you think you can bring to the guild? Why are we going to be happy you joined us?

I can bring 1 competant player with no drama (drama is somthing I hate) to this guild and I have a great personality :D. You wouldn't regret adding me to your guild.

13. If you are interested in 25 man raiding with us, what are your available nights and times for 25 man raids?

Since SWTOR comes out in a month, I feel its a little early to state what nights I'll be available, but I can't imagine it would affect the raid night schedules.

14. If you are interested in raiding with us, are you willing to build a secondary set on this character, and respec as necessary (generally to dps) if the raid needs it, without bitching excessively?

I will be happy to help with whatever the guild needs. Assuming its in my power of couse.

15. Do you meet our age requirement?

I do.

16. How old are you, if you don't mind us asking?

24, and Male

17. If we had a party in real life, what would you bring?

Awesomeness. I don't go to many parties if you couldn't tell. ;P If you were looking for more of a physical item then I'd have to say steaks, who could party without a grilled steak?

18. Do you know what parachute pants are?

I do, but please don't ask me to wear them. I'd have to go buy some and it'd just be a hassle.

Nope.

Knowing what Cornbread is and love it, I'm going to say Cornbread. Though I don't understand how the first part relates to it.

23. Are you married?

Nope, Single. Surprising eh? A gamer that's single!

24. If so does your spouse or partner play games, too? If they don't, how do they feel about you playing games?

Nope. If being an Uncle counts then I have a neice who is turning 6 in a week.

26. What activities or hobbies do you have other than gaming?

I enjoy cars (don't work on them, unless I get something new for my car), Technology is a big one, TV shows, Movies, Poker (Hold'em of course). I'm sure there are other things I enjoy but I can't think of them atm.

If I'm going to play SWTOR would there not be new ones picked? Regardless the AddOns for raiding are: Omen3, Bigwigs (or DeadlyBossMods), Mumble, and EPGPLootmaster.

d) I don't know. I've never kipled.

31. What is the name of the voice over IP application that we use during raids?

Mumble, which is nice because its my favorite atm.

Crest, I just like the way the tube looks. People want to be in the same room as me because I'm so awesome.

35. What is a hectocotylus? (it's ok you can Google this one)

Is this just a fun fact for all new applicants to know? I hope I'm not going to encounter one of these while being initiated into the guild.

However if I still need to put the deffinition in my answer then: "A hectocotylus is one of the arms of the male of most kinds of cephalopods that is modified in various ways to effect the fertilization of the female's eggs."
