Natural Order Introduction

Tell us about your character(s)....Technically, this is a re-introduction. I was once a member of this guild (as you may notice by my already-existing user name and password). I left to go do alliance-y things in alliance-y places. I enjoy those things, but I also want to play the horde questlines and stories as well. Hence my re-application, along with (eventually) my girlfriend (real, not inflatable!). She is new to the game and currently working on her first 85 on our alliance server. She will eventually apply as well.

I mean, unless you tell me to bugger off... :)

 1. What games are you looking to join us in? WORLD OF WARCRAFT! I have no plans to play Star Wars, but you never know.

2. Do you have characters on our servers already? If so list the ones you have which you plan to guild.

Off-spec: either/or -- depends. I haven't figured out either DPS spec

I intend to roll another lowbie toon to level in the guild. Given my altaholism, it will not stop at one. Also, sometime around tax return season, I will be transfering a hunter (level 80 now).

3. What previous and current MMO's have you/do you play? Just Warcraft.

4. Describe what makes a good gamer, in your opinion: It's so cliche, but attitude. WOW is built with a series of skill variants that let just about anyone play and compete at some level of the game. All that remains is attitude. If your attitude sucks, you're a bore to be around and you'll ruin everyone else's fun. If your attitude is amazing, you'll probably get carried through content. (Note: Attitude and Breasts are not one and the same, despite some evidence supporting that hypothesis in the literature)

5. On a scale of 1 to 10 tell us how good a gamer are you, and why? Overall, 5/10. I am neither great nor terrible. I'm 34 and I lack the reflexes for pvp. I have an anxiety disorder (yay?) which makes me less likely to try new things without a comfort zone with me. Beyond that, I'm usually well-prepared for things that require preparation, and I can handle stretches of solo play and non-raiding, so long as my social needs are fulfilled.

6. Have you been in any other guilds on servers which we play on? How about in other games or on other servers? Which? Why did you, or why are you leaving them? Basically we're looking for a basic history that you've had with guilds previously. I was in NO for some time. I left to go play alliance. There was no drama or anything. On other servers, I've been in mostly casual, friend-based guilds that have lasted through xpacs. I currently play Alliance on Wyrmrest Accord with some old friends and my girlfriend. I keep a toon or two on Lightbringer in case my brother needs a spare part for an instance.

7. What do you like to do with your time in WOW or SWTOR? Most of my time, I spend leveling (either toons or professions, in particular archy). I could stand to do more dungeons and heroics. I have yet to raid in this xpac on any toon.

8. How did you hear about Natural Order? You were in my dreams. Specifically Tal. He had a whip, an Indiana Jones hat, and what I think was Ikuri's drivers license. We were headed to Vegas.

9. Is there a current member of Natural Order who could reference you in a good or bad way? (Who?) Anyone who remembers Bulworth. I talk to Melindra from time to time. Some of you are still on my Facebook feeds.

10. Have you read all of the posts in the About Natural Order section of the forum? (this is very important to us) I did...once. If they've changed much, I am probably going to get flagged, flogged, and frogged.

11. What are your expectations? What do you think you will gain from joining Natural Order, and why are you applying? I'm looking for a place to hang out, level, show my girlfriend what the Horde can offer, and be marginally useful in some places. You know that "we need one more for that 2-tiers ago raid"? That's me.

12. What do you think you can bring to the guild? Why are we going to be happy you joined us? Humor. Bacon. Free money in the guild vault as I level.

13. Are you interested in "end game activities" with us in any of the games we play (such as 25 man raiding in WOW)? What days are you available for these sorts of activities (generally between 9pm and 12pm Eastern Standard Time)? Possibly, though perhaps not. I am available most weekdays and every other weekend (approximate; values depend on which nights I have my son)

14. If you are interested in raiding with us in WoW, are you willing to build a secondary set on this character, and respec as necessary (generally to dps) if the raid needs it, without bitching excessively? I assume that is par for raiding. I would be fine with that -- I would actually need more guidance and practice as to the other spec/playstyle more than anything else. I have an 80 to 85 of everything but a priest (who is 60), so flexibility is my thing. I can also level whatever ahead of the PandaPack.
