SWTOR, EQ, EQ2, Planetside, EQOA, WoW, lotro, Conan, City of Heroes, Anarchy Online, Earth & Beyond, Auto Assault, etc.
4. Describe what makes a good gamer, in your opinion:
Experience, level-headedness, responsiveness, good attitude
5. On a scale of 1 to 10 tell us how good a gamer are you, and why?
9 - Back in the day (Intellivision, Atari, NES, SNES, etc.) I would have said 8 but I'm 34 now and some things get better with age. *wink* *wink*
6. Have you been in any other guilds on servers which we play on? How about in other games or on other servers? Which? Why did you, or why are you leaving them? Basically we're looking for a basic history that you've had with guilds previously.
Wyvern on Sith Wyrm. I left because the leadership are elitists. It was them in the same 4 mans, 8 mans over and over again. Didn't want to know if anyone else wanted to go. We didn't have enough people for 16 man and not enough equipped players for 2 groups of hard mode flashpoint. Besides that, they were only interested in playing with a select group of people. The rest of us were just there to fill in gaps when needed.
7. What do you like to do with your time in WOW or SWTOR?
Dailies, Warzones, Space missions, Flashpoints HM and regular, Operations, crafting (artifice)

8. How did you hear about Natural Order?
I've been in a few warzones where it was a group of Natural Order playing. Whenever I played with them on my team we won. They seemed like good chaps.
9. Is there a current member of Natural Order who could reference you in a good or bad way? (Who?)
No, I didn't really speak to them as we were too busy killimg Imps.
10. Have you read all of the posts in the About Natural Order section of the forum? (this is very important to us)
Actually yes I have. It's very refreshing.
11. What are your expectations? What do you think you will gain from joining Natural Order, and why are you applying?
I expect to have fun, maybe make some friends, do some end game content if I find others who want to and enjoy the game. I am applying to Natural Order because after reading your About section it occurred to me that this is where I should be. This doesn't seem like the typical guild and that's exactly what I am looking for.
12. What do you think you can bring to the guild? Why are we going to be happy you joined us?
A tank for the tankless, an artificer for the artificerless, guidance and understanding that only a parent of 5 kids can bring. You'll be happy because I'm there when you need me. You need help? I'm there.
13. Are you interested in "end game activities" with us in any of the games we play (such as 25 man raiding in WOW)? What days are you available for these sorts of activities (generally between 9pm and 12pm Eastern Standard Time)?
I'm interested in hard mode flashpoints and operations in SWTOR.
14. If you are interested in raiding with us in WoW, are you willing to build a secondary set on this character, and respec as necessary (generally to dps) if the raid needs it, without bitching excessively?
If you need me to make a healer or DPS I'm perfectly ok with that. In fact I've already started making my healer.

No. I work and she does most of the homemaker stuff. She's also not real interested in MMO's. She has been known to play some Xbox here and there.

Nice!
I like your app. Good attitude, and sounds like you'd fit in pretty well. The current SWTOR crew is a mix of long-time guildies, RL friends, and family. We're pretty close-knit, but not so close that new folks would have a hard time fitting inI think it's neat that you found us via PvP - quite a few people have been enjoying that part of the game. :)
So what kind of pizza would you bring to our party?
I would bring 10 Suffed Crust

I like the App
I have only PVP'd a couple times with the Natural Order crew that goes regularly; but I remember seeing the Wyvern group and they seemed organized and pretty good at what they were doing.
I totaly understand about that core group of players and the elitist attitude, you won't find that around here. I have played nearly as many MMO's as you have and so have seen many different leadership and guild styles come and go. I have been in NO for 3 (4?) years now and can't imagine trying to find another guild after being in this one.
P.S.: Ikuri, or any of the leadership, we are going to have to ake a look at the application again and see about adding/changing a few of the questions at some point to be less WOW specific. Maybe after they open up add-ons for SW:TOR and we have a chance to pick a few we like? Not immidiately mind you, but at some point in the near future.
re: the app
Tal & Ogg made a pass through it not long ago and changed some of the questions to be more guild-centric, and others to be about both SWTOR/WoW. Were there specific ones you were thinking of that could use improvement? PM me here on the forums and let me know so I can pass it along.
You, sir...
You, sir, are one of the reasons this guild has been around for so long and across so many games. We're a group of like-minded individuals looking for others to just hang out with and have fun. I'm glad to see other family gamers out there (noticed you have 5 kids) and especially with twin infants, life can hit you pretty hard. You won't ever have to worry about putting the game first in this guild. We're all friends here and understand when things come up. We've got an all inclusive 'raiding' policy across all the games we're involved in, which I'm sure you saw in our bible.
Overall, I completely approve this app and would like to snag you up ASAP.
BTW, do you remember who you saw in PVP? Pox'umbra, Synth, Malky, Zee, Huygens, or Relmiste? We're all pretty active in PVP. Just curious. :)
