I don't know what that means
An explanation of the macros would help. From the looks of it, it checks every member of the raid, and if they don't have a flask or food buff it tells them to flask up or eat?
Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather trust the members of the guild to maintain their own buffs than have someone yelling at them. A simple 'Buff up', 'flask up' or 'eat up' in vent is all that needs to be said.

That's pretty much what it does. It checks buffs, and sends a simple reminder into raid chat for those without buffs to eat. And I disagree on just a reminder in vent. I find that a lot of people tune out vent, and forget to check their buffs. So I like seeing a reminder to let people know their buffs are missing. Personally, I run the Big Brother addon, since it checks flasks, raid buffs, and pally buffs. It's a useful tool for making sure that everyone is using the resources available to them, and given that we as a guild provide a lot of those resources to members at no cost, there's no excuse not to be buffed/flasked up. YMMV.

It's just a reminder, I think it's a good call. I don't know how many times we've been in a progression 10 man and Ikuri mentions flasks and I'm like ooop, i've been playing an hour without a flask, and i'm not the only one in the raid.
Reminders like this are good.

Chances are there are people not on vent anyway.
Of course there's a chance they also don't have flasks or food.

Just reminds me of very abrasive raid leaders I've been with in the path, (the kind of people that would prefer it if they could just 25 box the thing themselves, and try their best to do so despite the troublesome 'other people' in control of the different characters.)
But I know Ikuri is an awesome raid leader and can walk the line well between 'keeping people on the ball' and 'trying to control the raid'. Objection withdrawn.
I'm from a very hardcore
I'm from a very hardcore place, so you'll have to forgive me if I come across pushy in some areas. This was an macro we used before pulling fights, it's not meant to pick-on or annoy anyone, but simply to remind people. Some will choose to flask right at a pull which is fine, you just want it fresh on your mind, or to be reminded if you've missed that there's a feast out and such.
I apologize for the lack of description, I posted this at someone's request. It effectively does something like...

You know I'm not sure, if I recall it doesn't recognize Flask of the North or whatever, and some of our guildies used alternatives, like our main paladin healer used http://www.wowhead.com/item=13511 which wasn't detected by it. So I actually don't think I ever noticed it if it was blank, though often the food one wasn't used, so perhaps if no one does come up it doesn't post.

I knew Kael was Huygens!!! I've been told multiple times in the past Kael, Crick and Huygens were all different people...I wanted to cry, but I went along with the flow....NOW I WIN!
Anyway, I saw Cacc use the macro last night in the raid, which I found to be extremely helpful...especially since WoW broke Elks Buff Bars and I'm like a deer caught in headlights using WoWs buff system for now. Since I do, at times, forget to renew my Flask and won't notice until 1/2 way through an encounter or after a wipe.
So please, especially Ikuri (I know you have your hack...I mean addons to see what buffs I do/don't have)...yell at me if you don't see I'm Flask'd or Well Fed...since at times I can have rather....intrusive distractions. Squeek squeeeeek squeek squeek squeeeeeeek......squeek squeek...STFU! It's midnight!! Stop!!!!...squeek squeeeeeek squeeek....get the idea?
