to get that first mount? and then scrounging up 100g just to get it?, then i think 1k just for epic riding? when things like windfury, the hand of Rag, and world dragons were important?
My first toon that I actually have a decent /play time for was a warlock. Free mount at 40 and my epic mount was like 600-ish gold since we had the quest back then.
I do remember being like "Holy crap! this is fast!" and rode from Dire Maul all the way back to Org. haha!
those 4 vendor only warlock items to summon the boss for your epic mount in my bank.
Also remember when maps didn't tell you where to go and quest items didn't sparkle and you would walk by it 400 times? Ahhh old school leveling how I miss don't miss you.
lol yeah i still have them on my lock also.. both actually. My first toon was a human lock.. then when i wanted to go to horde my friend told me he would buy my human lock since well they didnt have race/faction changes... so I started another acct and made a BE lock...
