I think it's been discussed before, but this is basically a "Hey, I had an extra $30 to blow on Wow" kind of thing. You already get an in game pet and an achievement for it and some free non-combat pet viagra. That's good enough. =)
I made the badge for the celestial pony because of the hooplah about having a pretty celestial pony and how funny I thought that was, rather than about money. The CE edition seems to just be a cash ething, sure you get a minipet, but meh.... The badge doesn't do anything for me. It's not gonna happen.
This isn't and never was about having the extra money but about going the extra mile as a collector. Kinda bummed that people seemed to get the wrong idea.
but something like this really just boils down to if you have the extra dough. Some have to make the decision on crimmus presents or non CE-Cata and in my opinion, it's just really not fair to dole out a badge for this.
