So I was just about to log onto WOW for the first time in quite a while, damn you TOR, and when I clicked on my mobile authenticator (Android) it came up with a serial number that I have to enter on the website, so Im guessing that my app had updated or something. Well I can't log onto battle.net without it and am since unable to get onto WoW. My question is: am I gonna have to go through the process of unmounting my authenticator and then reload it? The blizz process for that sucks, cause i have to upload my government issued ID for whatever reason. Just wondering if there is a simpler way.

Did you reset your phone/reinstall the authenticator app recently?  Updating the app wouldn't trigger a new serial number to be generated.

Yes, if you're unable to use your mobile authenticator currently to login to WoW or the website, you'll need to contact Blizzard support to have it removed.  https://us.battle.net/account/support/login-support.html?ref=http%3A%2F%2Fus.battle.net%2Fen%2F  Go there and select the option for Remove Authenticator.  Once it's been removed, you'll need to add it back to your account.
