I saw him at the Criminal Records birthday party in Atlanta a couple years back, when he was testing material for Werewolves and Lollipops. I was standing out in the lobby waiting for my brother to get a beer and stepped back to let someone by, colliding with the person behind me. I turned around and found myself apologizing to Zach Galifianakis. What's even worse, it happened twice more before the night was over.
Got turned on to a great local indie band called Snowden, had to sit through a really horrible band that had something to do with elves, saw a hilariously offensive puppet show, and in the end managed to be first in line for autographs. Got them both to sign Patton vs. Alcohol vs. Zach, which I've still got somewhere around here. Was a blast.
Really good movie, definitely check it out. I don't know if you have Netflix, but it was on instant watch when I saw it. I'm curious what you'll think of it.
I didn't even know about the 'vs' thing with Zach Galifianakis... will add that to my to-do list.
It's the tail end of one of their shows, and Patton's drunk off his ass and kind of screwing up his bits, so Zach comes on and starts playing the piano and they just start ripping on each other. Definitely worth tracking down, along with his stuff on the Comedians of Comedy tour. (There's a bit where they make him start singing like Leon Redbone and he starts singing about how much he hates them that's just hilarious.)

Just watched Comedians of Comedy last week
I didn't realize that Maria Bamford is ACTUALLY insane. I thought it was just her schtick :P
I would definitely recommend this movie. It's worth your time and even a rental fee (though you can get it straight from Netflix online).
